B-Lab publishes its first Sustainability Report for 2024

A further step toward more responsible luxury packaging

B-Lab has published its first Sustainability Report, covering the year 2024. This voluntary document marks an important milestone in our journey toward a more conscious and responsible way of doing business.

A voluntary report born out of transparency

We are not legally required to publish a sustainability report, nonetheless we chose to do so because we believe that sharing openly what we’re doing—and what we still need to improve—is the first step toward creating long-term value.

The report outlines the actions we took in 2024 to:

  • reduce the environmental impact of our operations,
  • promote the well-being of the people who work with and for B-Lab,
  • ensure ethical practices throughout our supply chain.

“Every small gesture counts”

In the opening letter, co-founders Carlo Canestri and Enrico Ceriana write:

“We are a small company, but we believe that every gesture counts. This report is our commitment to do our part, with transparency and responsibility.”

This commitment translates into concrete actions, such as:

  • an increasing use of lower-impact materials, including FSC®-certified paper,
  • the development of plastic-free and mono-material solutions to improve recyclability,
  • suppliers engagement on environmental and social criteria across the value chain.

People at the heart of what we do

As Carlo and Enrico remind us in their letter, sustainability is not just about materials and processes: it’s first and foremost about people.

Our goal is to create a working environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and happy to collaborate with us.
At B-Lab, well-being is not just about having policies in place—it’s about how we work together every day: with respect, trust, and a shared sense of responsibility.
