Our commitment is a concrete step towards a sustainable future<\/a>:<\/strong> B-Lab is not just offsetting its emissions; we carefully choose the projects we support, preferring those that not only protect nature but also improve people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2025<\/strong>, by offsetting our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions<\/strong> (partial), we have decided to support the Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve Project<\/strong><\/a> because, in addition to its dedication to preserving Indonesian peat and mangrove forests, it includes numerous activities benefiting local communities, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Education:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Creation of libraries in villages and funding of three-year scholarships for deserving students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Since 2015, the project has supported 35 local schools<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

    Healthcare and Social Services:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Implementation of a floating clinic in 2016<\/strong> to provide healthcare services to 10 villages along the Seruyan River<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Provision of nutritional programs for children<\/strong> and family planning services<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Employment and Livelihood:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Programs to generate alternative sustainable income<\/strong> for local communities, reducing dependency on agriculture and deforestation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        The project aligns with all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>, demonstrating a holistic impact on local living conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
